Saat lagi suntuk karena Internet IM3 yang super lemot, iseng-iseng buka SMS yang masuk dihandphone, ada salah satu SMS Promo yang begitu menggoda sehingga saya punya keinginan untuk mencobanya.
Isi SMSnya sih tidak jauh beda dengan promo-promo kebanyakan yaitu menawarkan berbagai hadiah wah yang membuat orang jadi ngiler.
Yang jadi perhatian saya adalah cara mengikutinya yaitu bukan lagi menggunakan Ketik REG BLABLA kirim ke 4 digit nomer lagi (seperti kebanyakan iklan di TV dan media cetak), akan tetapi sudah lebih profesional dan lebih halus dalam menggiring seseorang untuk ikut bergabung, yaitu dengan menekan *123*7*5*5*1#
Sepintas perintah diatas sama persis dengan perintah ketika kita request saldo pulsa, akan tetapi perintah diatas sebenarnya adalah perintah registrasi untuk mengikuti suatu layanan yang ujung-ujungnya juga sama seperti halnya menggunakan metode yang udah lazim yaitu REG BLABLA kirim ke nomor sekian dan lebih parahnya lagi di SMS promo tidak mencantumkan apabila bergabung kena biaya berapa.
Setelah saya coba untuk ikut bergabung, dengan menekan *123*7*5*5*1# tidak lama dapat SMS balasan yang isinya terimakasih telah terdaftar di salah satu layanan yang menjanjikan hadiah menarik dan wah. di bagian belakang isi SMS ada cara untuk berhenti langganan yaitu UNREG BLABLA kirim ke nomor sekian dan juga nomor Customer Servicenya. Kemudian saya cek saldo pulsa yang awalnya Rp. 14.549 sekarang tinggal Rp. 8.884 berarti berkurang 5.665, itu artinya ketika kita mencoba untuk menekan *123*7*5*5*1# tanpa pemberitahuan dahulu, langsung otomatis terpotong sebesar Rp. 5.665.
Saya yakin metode ini sangat menguntungkan buat Content Provider (penyedia layanan Konten) apalagi metode ini baru dan belum banyak yang tau, akan tetapi SANGAT SANGAT merugikan buat customer.

Barangkali ada yang mengalami error joomla seperti diatas, tidak usah panik. itu error dikarenakan path log dan tmp yang salah, ini biasanya terjadi ketika hasil instalan joomla di PC lokal trus diupload ke hosting, atau bisa juga karena migrasi dari hosting satu ke hosting lain.
Cara mengatasinya:
1. Login ke administrator
2. Masuk ke Menu Site >> Global Configuration
3. Kemudian klik tab menu System
4. pastikan bahwa Path to Log Folder sesuai dengan struktur hosting, contoh: /home/user/public_html/logs
5. Begitu juga di tabmenu Server pastikan bahwa Path to Temp-folder terisi dengan benar, contoh: /home/user/public_html/tmp
